Ski Apache Adaptive SportsSki Apache Adaptive Sports Benefit

Ski Apache Adaptive Sports (SAAS) has been “denying barriers and defying gravity” since 1976. Don’t miss the annual Benefit that directly funds the program.

There will be a silent and live auction and cash bar to raise funds for the Ski Apache Adaptive Sports program.  The Ruidoso Community has always supported this important fundraising event so come out and feel good about buying cool stuff.   SAAS is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to teaching people with cognitive and physical disabilities to ski and snowboard.  SAAS gratefully relies on the support of Ski Apache Ski Resort, fundraisers, and volunteers to host approximately 200 students each year.  The program turns no one away due to type or extent of disability or financial constraints.  Students and their families come from throughout the country as well as from regional and local schools, disabled veterans groups, and development centers.

All funds go directly to the program to update equipment, provide training and cover operating expenses.

When: Saturday, January 28th

Where: Ruidoso Convention Center – 111 Sierra Blanca Drive

Time: 6pm-9pm
