Enjoy a day filled with living history as Fort Stanton hosts its annual Fort Stanton LIVE event featuring costumed re-enactors from the Civil War and Indian Wars eras. Enjoy captivating demonstrations, engaging presentations, and lively music that bring history to life.

Explore a diverse array of exhibits from authors, historians, photographers, and artists, along with various historical vendors showcasing their crafts and handmade goods. Local food vendors will be on-site to keep you fueled throughout the day.

Don’t miss a special performance by dancers from the Mescalero Apache Tribe on the parade grounds. Other Mescalero members will be serving delicious Indian tacos and displaying traditional arts and crafts.
