Join the Lincoln County Bird Club on Saturday, October 18, 2025, for a half-day Fall Migrant Field Trip through the scenic Ruidoso and Hondo Valleys. Carpools gather at 7:30 AM in Beall’s parking lot on US 70 in Ruidoso and depart promptly at 8 AM. The route will follow the backroads of the Rio Ruidoso and Rio Hondo Valleys, with stops in Lincoln and at the Capitan wetlands to observe both resident and migrating birds.

Bring binoculars, field guides, snacks, water, sturdy shoes, and dress in layers. Guests and novice birders are warmly welcome!
