Experience a meaningful moment of connection and renewal at the Monarch Butterfly Release at White Mountain Meadows. On Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 AM, participants are invited to release a pre-ordered live Monarch butterfly in a peaceful park setting near the pavilion and playground.

Butterflies are carefully shipped the day before and kept dormant until just before the event. As they warm and prepare for flight, each participant will have the opportunity to release their butterfly—creating a shared, uplifting experience surrounded by nature.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Once the butterflies begin to warm, they are ready to take flight, and late arrivals may have their butterfly released on their behalf to ensure their well-being.

Butterflies must be pre-ordered in advance ($15 each). By placing an order, participants agree to the event’s release guidelines.
