SIRSY is a friendly, sassy singer-songwriter rock band with a soulful, powerhouse of a lead vocalist (seriously, wait until you hear Mel sing!) who is also the band’s drummer (she’s been featured in Modern Drummer). Sirsy’s been touring the US for the last 17 years– playing 200 shows per year nationally. The other half of the band is Mel’s hubby Rich – who sounds like 3 guitarists all on his own- on a vintage Rickenbacker guitar. (Rich also plays bass on a pedalboard with his feet while he’s playing guitar). So, they sound like a full band… but their show is also intimate with heartfelt stories about the songs … and nerdy jokes. They’ve been able to make folks dance, laugh, and cry – all in the same show! They will move you!
