The Wonders on Wheels (WoW) Mobile Museum is touring the exhibit, “The Arts of Democracy in New Mexico” to Lincoln Historic Site during Old Lincoln Days, Aug. 7 * 8, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The exhibit honors the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and highlights ideals of freedom and self-government and how they have been expressed in art forms, particularly in New Mexico. The WoW RV will feature hands-on activities related to themes of democracy. Admission is FREE. “The Arts of Democracy in New Mexico” is supported in part by New Mexico Arts, a division of the NM Dept. of Cultural Affairs and by the National Endowment for the Arts.
