Maybe not everyone enjoys the sweet and/or bitter brews (aka good beer) that have been cooked up by brewmasters across the world, but most enjoy an easy afternoon with their favorite suds on a weekend.

That’s just what’s being offered by the Inn of the Mountain Gods this Saturday, Sept. 24. More than just beer, there’s also music and barbeque at the Brews, Blues and BBQ event.

Running from noon to 6 p.m., the even is free to the public, although 10-ounce pours are available for $20.

There’s plenty of beer to choose from, as well – ranging from nationally known brands like Sam Adams, Strongbow and Blue Moon to more local brews from Santa Fe Brewing and Sierra Blanca.

More than 200 different beers will be available, and all can be consumed with great barbeque from Can’t Stop Smoking in Ruidoso.

Add to that some terrific blues music from artists like the .32-20s, Tisa Trio and Pat “Guitar Slim” Chase, and you can’t go wrong.
